To celebrate the upcoming release of the Versace for H&M collection, 500 guests were invited to experience the world of Versace! The fantastic event included a star-studded red carpet, a runway show, and an after-party. The runway show featured the impressive collection a few iconic pieces created exclusively for the show.

In case you’ve forgotten, which I doubt you have, here are a few tastes of the upcoming Versace for H&M collection. This is gearing up to be a rather fun collection full of print colors and lively prints. I’m seriously crushing on that leopard print scarf and the purple dress.

Here’s the first image from the lookbook for H&M’s upcoming collaboration with Versace. A lot of the collaboration attention has been falling on Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s and Missoni for Target, but we definitely shouldn’t forget about Versace! I can’t wait to see more of the lookbook!

Summer is still blazing on, but H&M is already looking forward to Winter. Frida Gustavsson models the 60’s-inspired looks in the brands winter lookbook, shot by Andreas Sjodin.

H&M recently ran a competition for young artists called Your Art Here. The winners have been chosen! The prize? Each artist will have their design printed on t-shirts which will be sold at H&M stores nationwide, beginning this month. I love all of these designs, but I’m especially enjoying Rockie Nolan’s. Do you have a favorite?

Awesome Shopping Site Alert! - Suddenlee →

Those of us who live in the United States have been waiting for H&M and Zara to launch online stores in our country for what seems like forever! Well, say goodbye to all your money, because I have some good, make that great, news! Some of us can shop those stores now! Suddenlee is an incredibly awesome website that lets you shop 300+ e-commerce sites, including those without online stores for the USA! You can bundle everything into one order and get everything shipped to you next day! The bad news is, this service is rather limited at this point. They only serve areas in the Northeastern part of the United States. So, I won’t be shopping through them anytime soon. Guess I have time to save up. However, they say they’ll be trying to expand soon, so let’s keep our fingers crossed!

UPDATE: I think you may still be able to checkout as a guest, even if you live outside their areas of service that allow you to register. Does anyone want to test this out and report back to me? I’d really, really appreciate it!

Versace for H&M!

Can I take a moment to just say that again? Versace for H&M?! I think everyone in the fashion world (and those of us who just look longingly from the outside) is excited about this. And why shouldn’t they be? This is absolutely awesome!

Okay, enough raving. Time for the details!

Donatella Versace has looked through the Versace archives, starting all the way back in 1978, to find inspiration for this collaboration. The collection will consist of around 40 pieces for women, 20 pieces for men, and some home decor! It will launch on November 17 in 300 stores worldwide and online. Oh, I hope H&M gets the USA online shop open by then! Also, Versace designed a Pre-Spring collection for the fast fashion retail giant, which will only be available in countries that have online H&M shops.

Behold the video of H&M’s Fall 2011 Lookbook! They recently released stills of the Fall collection, but it’s always nice to see garments in motion. The video features models Karlie Kloss and Josefine Ekman Nilsson. Way to make me even more excited, H&M!
